Chantal Toporow, PhD

Chantal ToporowC.M. Chantal Toporow, Ph.D., Education Chair, & International Liaison for the Society for Scientific Exploration, has extensive experience in scientific research, development, application & management of technology.  Degreed from UCLA’s Engineering Department, she has taught engineering at UCLA, CSULB, CSUN, and environmental courses at LMU, SMC and Otis Parsons School of Art and Design. She is on the Boards of various nonprofits dedicated to the advancement of science, the development of cultural aesthetics, and the preservation of Nature.

Dr. Toporow is committed to promote scientific inquiry for rigorous exploration of anomalous phenomena, investigations of subtle energies in the experience of consciousness/human potential and to integrate this new knowledge into a more encompassing and whole model of science. In particular, she is extremely interested in the workings of the human body/mind/spirit, and specifically in bioenergetics, qi cultivation, spiritual practices, psychic art, etc., as a sort of a "road map" to our inner workings and particular as they relate to experiencing "anomalous" events and how to better understand how we can reach our optimum potentials. She is a rigorous student of various anomalous modalities, including dowsing, remote viewing, introspective counseling, and telekinesis. She started her very young life as an artist, went rogue and became a PhD aerospace research engineer and professor of high technology! Now retired, she is using her technical skills to study and research all things psi, particularly bioenergetics, and with the intent to further our scientific understanding of the seemingly anomalous, random, yet, synchronous events around us and our own psi related abilities.

In addition, Chantal is an accomplished artist, a devout organic biodynamic gardener & practitioner of sustainability. She enjoys interdisciplinary ventures, and is committed to thinking globally & acting locally! She taught not only engineering at UCLA and other universities but also many environmental science classes teaching deep ecology, and the importance of sustainability and biodiversity. Over the years, in her garden, she has grown over 300 species of fruit, including 28 different species of figs, and innumerable types of flowers and vegetables varieties. She was 24 years on the Board of the California Rare Fruit Growers organization dedicated to encouraging public and scientific interest, research, and education for the preservation of rare fruit plants and also is on the Board of the Felix Gillet Institute which is devoted to identify, preserve and propagate the best of the 125+ year survivor fruit varieties still thriving in the mining camps, farms, homesteads and towns of the Sierra, and showing great resistance to harsh weather, drought, insect and disease attack, and producing remarkable, extremely flavorful crops with little or no human assistance. Lastly, she is on the Scholarship Boards of both the Biodynamic Farming Association and the California Rare Fruit Growers.

Through biodynamics (BD) and being a follower of Goethe’s ideas for many many years and having attended at least 20 of the Ecological Farming Conferences she learned as much as she could about organics, and in 2016 she decided to attend the biodynamic farming conference, and immediately was 100% on board and now a Life Member! Having taken BD classes on Human and Cosmic Evolution, the Study of Agriculture Course, the School of Elemental Beings, the Micro-biodynamics course as well as having been very active in local environmental issues since the early 80s… all this and more, awoke the desire to fully engage in the relationship between psi and Nature in the bigger context of the spiritual and consciousness, and hence this class to tap into the energetic Bridge of Life that Nature provides us and to know the elemental beings and spirits and how to work with them.

Her tagline: Nurturing Nature through wholistic Education, Rigorous Science, Creative Arts & Cultural Depths

Sally Ann Drucker, PhD

Michael Sudduth Sally Ann Drucker, Ph.D. in Literature, has taught college-level writing and literature courses for several decades. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in numerous literary journals. She’s also written scripts for and performed dramatic re-creations of famous and infamous women at Chautauquas across the country.

Her work in parapsychology parallels her writing, teaching, and performing background. In the late 1970s, as a research assistant at the Maimonides Medical Center, she worked with Charles Honorton on altered states and psi, and with Athena Drewes on children’s psi. Articles in both areas were published in refereed parapsychology journals. A book, Parapsychological Research with Children: An Annotated Bibliography, appeared in 1991 (Scarecrow, Drewes and Drucker).

A member of the Parapsychological Association, Sally Ann Drucker has given a number of papers and presentations at PA conferences. In the 1980s and 90s, she taught at the Rhine Research Center’s Summer Study Program. Currently, she’s Vice-President of the Rhine Board of Directors, a member of the Rhine Internal Review Board, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Parapsychology.
